Paul Lorentz (Jody) is excited to be making his second
appearance with StageQ after playing Bartholomew in Corpus
Christi. In addition, he has appeared in Mercury Players’ Balm in Gilead and in Strollers’ production of The
Last Night of Ballyhoo. Originally from the Kenosha area,
he now lives in Sun Prairie with his partner James and their
two “children”, Oscar and Spike. And an old Lorentz Family
legend has it that Paul once spent all his candy money on a
roadmap of Indiana.
Stephen Montagna (Carl), a native of Massachusetts,
received his MFA in Acting at the UW-Madison in 1994. Since
graduating, Stephen has been seen in Beast on the Moon, Six Degrees of Separation, and Wit at the
Madison Repertory Theatre, Glen Gary Glenross and Equus with First Banana Players, and on television in Real Stories of the Highway Patrol. He has produced and
directed locally, most notably The Living (First
Banana), Abducted! (Guerillas in the Midst), and Fuddy Meers (Mercury Players). Since 1991, Stephen has
done anti-violence community activism as a member of Men
Stopping Rape, Inc.; he has facilitated or co-facilitated
countless workshops and presentations and helped to train
Student Peer Educators on the UW and Edgewood College
campuses. During the day, Stephen works as the Media
Specialist for the UW Center for Women’s Health Research.
