An entertaining mix of two, one-act
plays separated by an intermission.
| The first play, Stay
Carl Stay by
Peter Tolan, is the story of a woman with a tired
relationship whose best friend (going through her own identity
crisis and leaning toward becoming a lesbian) suggests she
find friendship through owning a dog. Even the relationship
with her pet becomes dysfunctional. Directed by Jennifer Pluff,
produced by Thomas Mueller. |

| The second play, Killing Hilda:
A Love Story by David Grimm,
finds a gay gynecologist facing love in a boyfriend who's
moving too fast, even as the doctor is coming to terms with an
odd hobby in his own life. Directed by Christina Martin and
Paul Giuliani, produced by Steve Noll. |
|
| Not only are these two plays
new to Madison, but this is only the second time Killing
Hilda has ever been produced. Killing Hilda was
first produced by Full Moon Productions as part of an evening
of one-act plays entitled "She Came On The Bus" at
the Atlantic Theatre in October, 1999. |
