Gertrude Stein and A Companion presents snapshots of the strong
relationship between Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas,
spanning the early 1900's through the 1960's. Through reflective
and intimate storytelling, incorporating some of Gertrude
Stein's own writings, the play reveals the influence Gertrude
and Alice had on well-known literary and artistic figures, such
as Ernest Hemingway and Pablo Picasso, and the fascinating
journey of their remarkable life together.
Gertrude Stein and a Companion is written by Win Wells and directed by Roseann Sheridan. |
